For over 18 years, my aunt and uncle, the Keelers, have cared for a colony of cats abandoned near their small farm in rural Pennsylvania. It started with one pregnant stray — and turned into a quiet mission of compassion.

Today, they’re feeding and caring for 31 cats — all spayed, neutered, and deeply loved. These animals have survived harsh winters, injuries, and abandonment, but they’ve always had food, shelter, and safety thanks to my aunt and uncle’s devotion.

They’ve stretched every dollar to make it work for years — but now, the cost of care has outpaced what they can manage alone. My uncle is a veteran facing health issues, and local rescues haven’t been able to help. Despite it all, they continue showing up every day to make sure these animals are safe.

We’re hoping to raise $5,000 to help cover:

    •    Daily food and litter

    •    Emergency and routine vet care

    •    Winter supplies like heating pads and shelters

These cats are more than strays — they’re family. They’ve brought joy, laughter, and purpose to two incredibly kind people who have always chosen compassion, even when it came at a cost.
