My name is Brian Guarino. I am a military veteran, a student at East Carolina University working toward my degree in Industrial Engineering Technologies, and the founder of Guarino Industries LLC, an independent research and invention company based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I run the company as its sole researcher. The heart of my work is a single idea: taking dimensional analysis, a mathematical method engineers have long trusted in fields like fluid dynamics and aircraft design, and applying it to build practical measurement tools for fields that lack them. That idea has grown into a body of research covering manufacturing effectiveness, emergency response planning, and defense readiness, with manuscripts currently under academic review. Alongside the research, I build working software, including a payroll time clock application and field planning tools.
Until now I have carried the costs of this work myself while going to school. Your support will go directly toward three things: research and publishing costs, including journal fees and access to the technical literature; equipment and materials for building and testing prototypes; and the basic operating costs that keep a small company running, like software, hosting, and filings.
I want to be upfront that Guarino Industries is a small business rather than a charity, so donations are not tax deductible. What you are funding is one veteran's commitment to serious independent research and engineering, and every dollar goes into the work itself.
Thank you for reading, and thank you for any support you can give.
