Can we please make this a GoFundMe success story? Many Americans helping one American that helped all of us.

I have done shared housing for 20 years now, helping people going thru a hardship/low income.

I have a Veteran (picture attached) that lives in shared housing. Shortly after moving there in March 2025 he was in a fatality car accident. It was right when he was supposed to start a job. He wasn't able to start that job because his car was totaled and he hasn't been able to get a new car. He has zero funds and the housing assistance he is on through the Veterans program with Catholic Community Services is about to run out. It is imperative that he gets a car so that he can get a job or he will become homeless again. The shared housing program I run is self funded by the tenants paying reduced rent until they are able to pay the normal amount once they are back on their feet. This keeps the program functioning and serving new clients in return for what was done for them. It is a pay it forward, everyone helping everyone model.

I am unable to help this Veteran get a vehicle by myself. I usually help people by myself but the funds aren't there.

I am not one to beg or ask for help but he is worthy of the help and it is a legitimate need. With that said, I am asking if people would be willing to donate funds or if someone has a vehicle they would be willing to donate? One that runs and drives or only needs minor repairs.

If enough people would be willing to donate $100, $50, $20 or more or less, together we can easily help him. He will get every single penny donated to go strictly toward a vehicle to help him get a car and/or do needed repairs.

We are not a non-profit organization because I don't want this program run by a board.
