My name is Troy, and I am a veteran who has always tried to do the right thing, both in service and in my everyday life. Recently, I suffered several personal losses that made it difficult to keep up with daily responsibilities. Following my supervisor’s advice, I requested a leave of absence from work to cope and recover, but Walmart denied my request. As a result, I am now unemployed and facing the very real possibility of becoming homeless in just a few weeks.
Right now, I am struggling to cover my rent and bills because Walmart is tying up my unemployment. Despite their 20 billion net profit in fy 25, they apparently don't have $300 a week so I can pay my bills.
I have applied for dozens of jobs, with no success as of now. I need your help to keep me from being another statistic. I appreciate any help you can provide.
