On June 13th, my son Justice Blount, was involved in a life-changing motorcycle accident while visiting Atlanta, GA. Justice has suffered 2 broken legs - shattering his femur in both legs, 3 other places in his right leg, and has fractured bones in his left leg. Both his arms are broken including the wrist on his right arm. These are a few of the severe injuries that have immobilized him. Due to COVID-19, families are not authorized visitation. Justice is facing extreme difficulty and is unable to continue normal life responsibilities. His recovery is expected to be 18-24 months.
Justice is a single father of his now 4-year-old son, in which he has done a great job caring for. He is a hands-on, very involved dad. Justice is also enlisted in the army reserve. Currently, he is not on orders, therefore, he is ineligible to receive medical aid or financial support. He is currently displaced from his family, as he is from North Carolina and receiving care in Atlanta, where the accident happened. We are seeking to have him transferred to a facility closer to home. Due to his accident, he has incurred many expenses and while my family family is doing all that we can to aid him, we still require some additional help. We are asking you all as his friends, acquaintances, former/current colleagues, and concerned citizens to please help Justice in his time of need. His expenses exceeded 100K within these first 2 weeks and we still have months of recovery to go. All donations will cover his transportation back home, medical expenses, physical therapy, caretaking, as he unable to perform regular personal care for himself, and other fees associated with his cost of living to help aid his son. All support, no matter how big or small will help and is welcomed. We appreciate your help; we solicit your prayers and we thank you in advance for your support!
