Someone very close to me and her family are going through something no family should ever have to face. Her 12-year-old son is currently in the hospital after a serious medical emergency that has left him with significant injuries.

He is a bright, lively boy who loves soccer, flying drones, riding bikes, and adventuring in nature. Anyone who knows him knows how much energy, curiosity, and heart he brings into every room. Right now, he is being cared for by an incredible medical team, but he has a long road ahead with surgeries, treatment, and recovery.

Because this is a deeply personal situation involving a child, we are keeping identifying details private while the family focuses on his care and recovery.

Any money raised will go toward medical expenses, hospital-related costs, meals, travel, and time away from work so his family can focus on being by his side.
