Someone recently impersonated me—Professor Dustin Harding—using a fake email and university signature to scam one of my students. Believing they were responding to a legitimate research opportunity, the student was manipulated into sending $2,600 before the fraud was discovered.

This fundraiser is my personal effort to help the student recover what they lost. Students already carry heavy financial burdens, and this unexpected loss has hit them hard.
