An American woman with two special needs children living in Ireland is needing help leaving a domestic abuse relationship. Due to severe isolation over the past 5 years, she does not have many connections in Ireland. Her current circumstance does not allow her to return to the states at this time.


Due to the homeless crisis in Ireland, she is in desperate need of housing. All temporary housing is full and she is facing living in her car with her children. They are currently sleeping on a friend’s floor. Understandably, this is not a long term solution. 


Funds will go toward getting temporary accommodation until she and her children can  receive housing assistance to find a more permanent residence. It is extremely difficult to find any place to rent in Ireland, so it is important to start this process as soon as possible. 


Because they were forced to leave all of their belongings behind, funds will also help provide for additional expenses such as food, clothing, and fuel for required follow up appointments.
