Help a Union Brother After Tragic Loss

A coworker tim witmer lost his best friend recently. And I'm here hoping we can all pull together as one and help this man out! Here is his story I copied from a post he had made

Hi everyone most of yall don't know me I've only been with the company for a little over a year im a hilo driver on 1st shift just wanting everybody to be aware my (wife) passed away last week on 3-20-25 i put wife in parentheses because we were not legally married we were together for fifteen years, but that doesn't matter to (our work place) her funeral was saturday I took all last week off thinking in was all covered under bereavement leave well it was not so I will not be getting a paycheck this week just wanted anyone in my situation to be aware that piece of paper matters to (our work place) now I know and don't know what I'm gonna do.

I personally think we all should get together as we are his union brother/sister and help him in a desperate time in an unfortunate situation. Anything can help. I personally will be delighted to start off with helping once I get paid Thursday. Hope some if not all of you can do the same.
