Hello everyone,

My name is Lashonna Jones, and I’m from Raleigh,NC. I’m creating this fundraiser for my younger sister, who is a 21-year-old Psychology major at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). She’s in her senior year and only has one semester left before she earns her degree — a milestone she’s been working toward with dedication and determination.

Unfortunately, because of the federal government shutdown, FAFSA funds have been delayed, leaving her without the financial aid she depends on to cover her final semester’s tuition. She’s worked part-time jobs and managed every expense she could, but this unexpected setback has created a gap she can’t fill alone.

We’re asking for help to raise $6,300 to cover:

• Tuition and university fees for her final semester

• Books and class materials required to complete her courses

• Transportation and campus-related expenses

Every dollar raised will go directly toward her education. Funds will be sent directly to her student account at UNCG or used to pay verified school expenses. We are happy to provide proof of enrollment and tuition balance to anyone who requests it — full transparency is important to us.

My sister has come so far, and this degree means everything — not only to her but to our entire family. She’s passionate about helping others through psychology and dreams of starting her career in mental health services after graduation.
