My name is Trevor, and I am reaching out on behalf of a struggling single mother in Uganda who is facing one of the most difficult moments of her life. She is the sole provider for her three children and recently experienced a devastating tragedy when her young child suffered severe burns after being accidentally scalded by boiling water. The child is now in urgent need of ongoing medical care, treatment, wound management, medication, transportation to medical appointments, and proper nutrition to support recovery.

As if this heartbreaking situation were not enough, the family is also facing eviction from their rented home. Because of the medical emergency, the mother has been unable to work consistently and has fallen behind on rent payments. She has exhausted her limited resources trying to care for her injured child and provide for her other children. Today, this family is at risk of losing everything.

The funds raised will help provide emergency medical treatment and medications for the burned child, hospital visits and transportation costs, rent assistance to prevent eviction, food and basic necessities for the family, clothing and household essentials that have become unaffordable during this crisis, and support for the mother’s three children while she focuses on her child’s recovery.
