Fiona came into my life at a time when I was grieving the loss of a loved one. I found her on the streets, and from the moment we met, she brought me a sense of comfort and hope that I hadn’t felt in a long time. As someone who struggles with mental health issues, Fiona’s love and companionship have been a light in my darkest moments. She helped me find the strength to keep going, and her presence inspired me to push through my finals at UCLA, where I managed to earn all As. Fiona truly is my little hero, and I can’t imagine my life without her.

Recently, Fiona was diagnosed with Congenital Heart Disease, a condition she’s had since birth. Her heart has grown to three times the normal size for a cat, and without urgent surgery, she won’t survive. The vets have told me that the surgery must be paid for upfront, and I simply can’t afford it on my own as a student. Fiona’s condition is critical, and the surgery must happen soon—otherwise, she may not have much time left.
