I am a transgender woman living in Seattle working minimum wage delivery jobs, as well as volunteering at multiple LGBT organizations. I cannot earn enough to have savings, and rely on my car to make money, and today my car started smoking from the hood while i was at work. The radiator and cooling systems have broken and require full replacement, totaling around $2360 for labor and parts. I am missing work, and have to pay rent, and cannot afford the repairs on my own. I cannot sell my beat-up car for much and would still need it for work.
