Hi. My name is Harold Smith (GoFundMe has my legal name, Hannah, which we can collectively ignore). My friend Rosie is a healthcare worker who had been working in a nursing home. After new management came on board, they began singling her out and nitpicking her work. At the same time, an abusive roommate and assault on the street weakened her mental health. Eventually, she had 2 days of a mental breakdown. Her job fired her.

Rosie had a new job within 2 weeks, but can’t make rent this month. If she makes rent, she will be fine. If not, she’s got an eviction on her record and is couch surfing.

During all of these trials, she has remained a steadfast friend and staunch local advocate. She has done work pushing for Justice for Jax, a murdered trans woman in Lakewood. She is at every action that work allows. She’s always ready to step in and help. Now, she needs ours.
