I find myself in a time of need for a couple of situations happening at the same time. The first of which is struggling to get everything moved out of where I'm currently living and getting them to the new place. After too many years of residing in a space that has tanked my mental and emotional health, I finally have a way out. My new home will be a much-needed Queer safe space and I'll be living with similarly-minded roommates who I already know I get along with. I'll also be SO much closer to my doctor's office, which will make getting to (very necessary) appointments so much easier. I mostly need assistance with funds for getting a moving truck - just for one trip! Gas and mileage make moving trucks so much more expensive than their advertising would have you believe. It will be about $160 just for the one trip I need to take to get the rest of my things out. I own a Honda Fit that isn't big enough to even take one large furniture item at a time - which is what I was willing to do. The plan was to be moved out in the first full week of April, but work and the overwhelming nature of what I'm dealing with have delayed the process. I do want to add more context that I was successful getting some of my things over to the new house, but I really need to wrap this whole thing up.

The second situation just got sprung on me the other day - I've been actively working with a debt relief program to, well, get out of debt. The final major debt that I need to deal with has reached a settlement after several years. I need to come up with $200 (one-time, per what they told me) and I can rest a little easier.

In a nutshell, getting help in the amount of roughly $400 is going to help my life tremendously. I don't know if I'll have the spoons to give timely updates (if folks help me reach this goal), but I can try. In the event that more than what I need is given, all extra funds will help me with getting home improvement supplies and/or home goods that I need (like interior paint materials, dishes).
