Hello everybody,
My name is Korri. I’m a 24 year old autistic trans man from New England. I was recently wrongfully terminated from a job that I LOVED working with disabled folks with brain injuries. After this sudden loss of income, I’m struggling to make ends meet. I’m going to need some form of income until I can find a steady job. I have to pay rent, care for my partner and I’s dog and cat, along with other bills associated with just surviving. I’m also in school majoring in psychology and this loss of income has genuinely affected my ability to perform to the best of my ability. Losing a job has completely destroyed my routine and honestly, I’m not doing okay as a result of that.
So, why $8000? I decided to set a higher goal in case of any emergencies as my life has been unpredictable lately and I want to be prepared financially. Despite the goal, anything and everything would help immensely!
