I am organizing this GoFundMe to raise funds for my friend, Ashlynn as she is dealing with a major emergency. Ashlynn is a trans singer/songwriter and producer based out of Kansas City, MO.

Just after midnight on the morning of October 6, 2025, she stepped outside of her Kansas City apartment to check her mail. When she came back, her world flipped upside down. She came back to her electric, bass, and acoustic guitars were stolen.

Having something so important to a musician's identity as their instruments being stolen is beyond devastating, especially given that Ashlynn (under her stage name ADASTRIA) was set to play her first full live concert set in Kansas City on October 18th, 2025. Her songwriting has been a major source of healing for her and a way of expressing her trans identity. As Ashlynn says, "Gender is not merely an identity, it is a canvas where we express our soul."

Funds raised would go directly towards replacing her electric, bass, and acoustic guitars. Your contribution to this campaign would allow Ashlynn to perform her show on October 18th, and most importantly, allow her to continue expressing herself through her music.
