Help a Texas State Student Fight Wrongful Expulsion & Continue Their Education
Hello everyone,
I’m starting this fundraiser to support a student at Texas State University who was recently expelled after an incident during a campus event which had to do with the name ofCharlie kirk.
What happened was simple: the student expressed themselves passionately during the event. Emotions were high, and instead of offering dialogue or a chance to explain, the university made the harsh decision to expel them.
This punishment is not just disciplinary — it’s life-altering. Expulsion has left this student with:
Lost tuition already paid to Texas State
A sudden halt to their academic progress and dreams
Difficulty transferring credits to another university
A mark on their record that could impact their future career and opportunities
We believe this was wrongful and disproportionate. Universities should be spaces where students feel free to express themselves and engage with ideas, even controversial ones. No one should lose their entire education over one heated moment.
This fundraiser will help cover:
Tuition and school-related costs lost to the expulsion
Legal or appeal fees to challenge the decision
Living expenses while the student works to continue their education
Support for transferring to another school if needed
Every dollar helps. Any donation can make a difference, whether it’s $5, $20, or more. Together, these contributions can relieve the financial burden and give this student the chance to move forward.
If you cannot donate, please share this fundraiser with others. Awareness is powerful, and spreading the word can help ensure this student does not face this challenge alone.
We believe in fairness, in second chances, and in the right to education. With your help, we can stand up for those values and give this student the opportunity they deserve.
Thank you for reading, for donating, and for supporting a student who needs our help during this difficult time.
