I am a Texas resident and have been living with my grandparents for as long as they can remember. Neither of them have been able to work, meaning they rely on assistance such as social security and SNAP to pay for our bills and food. Recently SNAP, for unknown reasons, has been denying them assistance, despite our financial situation not changing. My brother and I have attempted to help them out by working and using our own money to help our grandparents pay for food, so they can worry about bills such as housing and electricity, but it hasn't worked. They have fallen behind on the monthly payments for our house because they haven't had any money left to spend after taking care of their other bills. There's over $3,000 of missed payments that they have had no way of covering.

This fundraiser is meant to help them catch up on their housing bills as well as help the whole house get back on our own feet. Without this money, we will lose our house and have no comfortable place to live. But if the final goal is hit, not only will you be helping a family at their lowest, but also help us avoid falling back down.
