This is new to me
-Asking for help-
I've recently been diagnosed with terminal throat cancer. I’ve been given two months to two years. I'm in a 27 year relationship with the love of my life, married for two years.
Our living situation is somewhat, but idea. For the last 15 years, we’ve lived above a bar with a few flights of stairs, which is not favorable for two 60+ year old man with health issues. So we need something a little more compatible. Years ago we were homeless and had to rely on The Guest House, which is a local homeless shelter. We were greatly appreciative by all means and taught how humbling life can be.
My husband has always had extraordinary work ethic. He has always provided beyond what was expected and did so with love and pride. I as well tried to keep up. All aside when my time comes, I don't want him to worry about the inevitable financial issues that over whelm most couples in my situation. So I ask for help, whatever that may be and a quiet safe place to lay my head my last few days. So my husband can say goodbye in peace.
The picture above is our wedding picture and this Gofund Me was created for me by a wonderful person months ago. I was just taught how to use it. The Oncologist, Dr. McGartland has given me either side of six months. You can contact her staff at St. Lukes Medical [phone redacted].
