my name is Zach. I’m 16 years old, and I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to travel to Tanzania in summer 2027 with Camp International.

I’ve always been a quiet and reserved person, and stepping outside my comfort zone doesn’t come naturally to me. But deep down, I’ve always wanted to do something that really matters to help others, protect the world around us, and prove to myself that I’m capable of more than I sometimes believe.

During this expedition, I’ll be working alongside local communities on meaningful projects that support children’s education, help protect the environment, and contribute to wildlife conservation. It’s a chance for me to make a positive difference while learning about a completely different way of life and building my confidence.

For me, this really is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

To make it happen, I need to raise funds to cover the costs of the expedition, including travel, accommodation, and project support. I’m committed to working hard to fundraise myself, but I can’t do it alone. Any support no matter how small would mean so much to me and help me achieve to go on this once-in-a-lifetime trip.
