Hi my name is Briyanna-Rose and I’m going to Lourdes.

Lourdes is a pilgrimage site, located in the South West of France, where Mother Mary appeared to saint Bernadette 18 times, to deliver a message to care for the sick, God’s love and to reveal her identity as the immaculate conception.

I have been blessed with a remarkable opportunity to go to Lourdes and help sick and disabled pilgrims visit this site for 7 days!

If you’re wondering why I want to go, it’s because of God (the Lord Jesus Christ). I say this not to mean I’m being forced but to express that without God there would be no compassion within me that would want to do this, because of God I’m able to find joy in communicating with and helping others.

From Lourdes I hope to gain a new sense of thankfulness, a stronger love for God and a deeper understanding of the importance of Mother Mary!

The money that you donate will pay for transport, food, accommodation, a jumper and a t-shirt which I will wear throughout the trip. The full amount is £1,200.

I will also be fundraising myself by making sweet baked goods (you can see this on TikTok and Instagram @BB_Delii). I am also part of a track training group (called MBS) and run for Harrow AC and I aim to sprint 25km before May 21st 2026, on designated training days; you can see this on my TikTok (@briyanna.cascc), where I combine track and my Christian faith.
