Help a teacher rebuild after a devastating wildfire.
Donation protected
On April 17th, 2025, Debbie Woodward, an elementary school art teacher living in Bosque Farms, New Mexico, lost everything when the Rio Grande wildfire tore through her neighborhood. Her home was destroyed as the fire, fueled by strong winds, jumped the river and quickly swept into residential areas. Thankfully she was not home when this occurred. Everything she owned — her home, her art supplies, and precious memories collected over a lifetime — was gone in an instant. She and her husband, who passed away 2 years ago, settled in Bosque Farms and built this adobe home almost 40 years ago, where they raised their daughter. The loss is devastating. Mrs. Woodward has dedicated her life to inspiring creativity in young minds, sharing joy through art, and building a supportive classroom for every student she teaches. Now, she needs our help.
We are raising funds to help her:
Clean up rubble and debris after fire damage
Find safe and stable housing
Replace essential belongings and clothing
Rebuild her life, piece by piece
Recover art supplies and teaching materials so she can continue doing what she loves — teaching and inspiring her students
Any contribution — big or small — will make a difference. Even just sharing this campaign helps more than you know.
Thank you for supporting a teacher, a mother, and a kind soul who’s given so much to her community.
With love and gratitude.
