Durante una recente vacanza a Rodi, mi sono imbattuta in una realtà che spezza il cuore: tantissimi gatti randagi, malati, affamati, spesso ignorati o lasciati a se stessi.

Tra tutti, una dolce gatta mi ha colpita profondamente. I locali dicono che vive da alcuni anni di fronte a un ristorante nel centro di Rodi città. È lì ogni giorno, sotto il sole cocente o sotto la pioggia, con un’infezione agli occhi che nessuno ha mai curato, e ora la situazione sta rapidamente peggiorando. Nessuno l’ha mai portata dal veterinario e, se le cose continueranno così, rischia di perdere completamente la vista, o peggio ancora, la vita, finendo sotto una macchina qualora non riuscisse più a vedere.

Ho deciso di non voltarmi dall’altra parte. Vorrei aiutarla a ricevere finalmente le cure che merita.

- Noleggiare una gabbietta per trasportarla in sicurezza dal veterinario

- Farle una visita completa

- Coprire le cure necessarie e iniziare un percorso di guarigione

While on holiday in Rhodes, I came across a sweet stray cat who’s been living for years in front of a restaurant in the city center.

She has a serious eye infection that has never been treated. Locals told me she’s had it for a long time and it's now getting worse, she may be losing her sight. No one is taking care of her, and she’s at risk of being hit by a car if become blind.

I’ve decided not to look the other way. I want to help her finally get the care she deserves.

This fundraiser will help:

- Rent a carrier to safely take her to the vet

- Pay for any treatment or medication she might need
