Hello! I’m Trevor, and my baby Logan needs some help. He is the sweetest boy you will ever meet and loves to snuggle, play with shadows, and have tuna flavored treats. He’s been with me through so many life changes and I can’t imagine life without him.

When I got him from the animal shelter, he had a small mass on his back that was pretty much unnoticeable unless you were looking for it. As the years have gone on, it has grown bigger and started to irritate him. About 3 years ago, we took him to get it biopsied and the test results came back that the mass was benign and not hurting him. The vets said that so long as he left it alone and didn’t try to lick it off (which could lead to infection) he would be fine.

Saturday Night (October 4th), I noticed a wet spot on Logans back. He had licked about half the mass off and it was bleeding. We stopped the bleeding and took him into the vet as soon as possible, and they advised at this stage it would be best for him to get it removed since he won’t stop bothering it and it started growing larger again. The vet also advised that since it was growing larger and changing size, that was a sign that it could be turning malignant even after all these years. The vets are fully optimistic once its removed he will make a full recovery and there shouldn’t be any complications, as this seems to be a pretty routine procedure for them. I was quoted a range from $1150-$1450 for what the total bill could cost, so I’m looking for assistance with $1250 to get to the minimum side of that bracket minus any gofundme fees.

I’m fully prepared to do what I have to to take care of my boy, but if anyone has ever seen this little chunky guy and he made you smile or laugh, anything you could spare to help ease the burden of this vet bill would be wildly appreciated. For now he is wearing his donut 24/7 so he can’t bother the wound, but the sooner we are able to get it removed the sooner he can go back to his regular life.
