Some of you may remember my last foster child. Her mother was murdered when the baby was 2 years old. Ultimately, the girl moved to another city with her grandmother, two cousins, and an aunt she called Mama. Two weeks ago, that aunt, her second mama, died very suddenly of a heart attack. She was 33 years old.

At 6 years old, the girl has lost two mamas. Grandma has now lost all four of her children and has three granddaughters she is raising. She wants desperately to move back to St. Louis where she has more family and community. I am trying to help her raise $5,000 to cover the cost of the move, first and last month's rent here, some furniture, etc.

I have come to love this whole family and am heartbroken for them. I know some of you who have received this will be grateful for an opportunity to help this child. I hope some others may be interested in helping out in this extreme situation. Asking with love.
