I am a 29-year-old single mother to a wonderful daughter, and I am proud to say I have officially completed my treatment plan for stage three breast cancer. Over the past year, I endured seven months of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, and five weeks of radiation, which I finished on February 13, 2026. This journey has been incredibly challenging, but I am grateful to have reached this milestone and to be looking forward to a brighter future for myself and my daughter.
Now that my treatment is complete, my goal is to return to college and finish my degree. Education has always been important to me, and I believe that completing my degree will open new doors for my family and help us build a more stable and fulfilling life. However, the financial strain of cancer treatment has made it difficult to afford tuition and other school expenses. In addition, I hope to bring a toy poodle puppy into our home to help my daughter and me de-stress and find comfort as we transition back into a routine and some sense of normalcy after everything we've been through.
With your support, I will be able to pursue my education and provide a loving companion for my daughter and myself. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in our lives as we heal and move forward. Thank you for considering helping us on this journey.
