I’m a fellow survivor of domestic abuse, and I know how important safety and stability are when rebuilding your life. That’s why I’m reaching out to support a single parent who has shown incredible strength and resilience.

This individual is a survivor of domestic abuse and a devoted parent. They have been living and working legally in the UK for years, and the UK is the only home they know. Now, they need help to apply for Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) so they can finally feel secure and safe in the country they call home.

The challenge? The cost of applying for ILR is overwhelming: £3,029 per person, which means £6,058 for this parent and their child. They are not eligible for any government funds or benefits and have no family or friends to turn to for help. Every penny they earn goes towards basic living expenses, leaving this dream of security out of reach.

As someone who has walked a similar path, I deeply understand the importance of safety and stability. No one should have to live in fear or uncertainty, especially after surviving such trauma. This is why I am doing everything I can to help them achieve permanent residency—a crucial step towards rebuilding their life.
