My name is Taqwa, and I currently live in Sweden. I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf on behalf of my friend Tarig Mohamed and his refugee family of five who were forced to flee their home due to the brutal war in Sudan. Their house was destroyed, their lives uprooted, and they lost everything they had.

Before becoming refugees themselves, Tarig Mohamed and his family were known for their generosity and compassion. In times of hardship, they opened their doors to others offering shelter, food, and support to those in need. They were a pillar of strength in their community. Today, they are the ones who need help, and I’ve taken it upon myself to support them as they try to rebuild their lives in safety.

After enduring immense hardship, this sudanese family has finally reached a safer place. However, starting over in a new country presents major challenges, especially for refugees without local support systems. The funds raised will go toward:

• Safe and stable housing

• Food, clothing, and medical expenses

• Legal documentation and processing fees

• Language classes and job training

• Education support for Osama, who is determined to continue his studies and build a better future despite the circumstances

As someone living in Sweden, I am using my access to international platforms to help Tarig Mohamed and his family, who otherwise wouldn’t have a way to reach supporters abroad. I will personally manage the transfer of funds to them through a secure and trusted method, and I am fully committed to full transparency and accountability. Updates will be shared along the way.

To support this effort, I will be actively reaching out through social media platforms to connect with generous individuals who are willing to help. Together, we can make a real difference.

This is a family that once stood by others. Now, they need us to stand by them.
