I am fundraising on behalf of an undocumented Sudanese woman who is currently attempting to seek asylum in the US.

She has been twice displaced in Sudan and was heavily pregnant when she fled the country during the war. She was fortunate enough to come to the US with her daughter, with the other one being born here, but is now in desperate need of funds for legal assistance.

She, along with her 3-year-old daughter, are at risk of deportation and are under constant pressure and surveillance by ICE agents — with regular visits and tracking being conducted.

She also has an upcoming court hearing regarding her deportation/removal from the US following her recent detention.
