Help a Student Take Robotics Home!
Tax deductible
This summer, more than 30 kids from Toledo's neighborhoods are diving into the world of robotics through our Rookie Robotics Micro:bit camps. Thanks to generous support from the City of Toledo, Mosaic Family Zone, and Owens Community College, most students attend at no cost. Over several days, they’ll explore electronics, sensors, and coding while building real robotic projects—using the BBC Micro:bit.
But here’s the problem:
When camp ends, their amazing projects go home without the Micro:bit board that makes them run.
Our in-class kits are reused throughout the year and can't be sent home. That means students lose the chance to show their families what they’ve learned—or keep building on their own.
You can change that!
For just $30, you can provide a student with their very own Micro:bit kit. With it, they can take home their creations, continue coding, and see themselves as future engineers and inventors.
Our goal is to raise enough to cover 30 take-home kits—one for every camper.
- Give a kid the tools to keep learning.
- Spark a lifelong interest in STEM.
- Be the reason a child says, “I can do this!”
