Hi, I’m a high school student trying to join my fishing team, but there’s one big problem — you can’t compete without a boat. Fishing is something I’ve put a lot of time and effort into, and being on this team would mean the chance to compete, improve, and be part of something I really care about. Right now, I’m stuck on the sidelines simply because I don’t have access to a boat.

I’m working toward raising $3,500 to buy a small, reliable used fishing boat and basic safety gear so I can officially participate in tournaments and team events. I’m putting in my own effort as well, but it’s a lot for a high schooler to afford alone.

Any amount helps. Even sharing this page would mean a lot and get me one step closer to competing with my team instead of watching from shore.
