At 25, I lost my grandfather, the most important person in my life. Alongside my late grandmother, he raised me on a small, remote island in the Philippines where I completed 1st and 2nd grade. My 2nd grade teacher was my grandmother herself! As I turn 26 this year, I want to honor their memory by giving back to the place that shaped me.

I've created this GoFundMe to help send 1 more graduating high school student from the island to college. I was once that student, growing up in a place with limited opportunities. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of those who believed in me. Now, I want to pay it forward. The cost to support a student through 4 years of college is just $2,400. I’ve already committed to funding 1 student and with your help, we can support another!

This is a one-time fundraiser with donations distributed over 48 months. The student must maintain their grades to continue receiving support, ensuring success. On the island, most families earn less than $10 a day, and higher education is out of reach for many. But together, we can change that!
