Hello, my name is Roberta Bertelli and I live in Treviso, Italy.

Years ago I create a fundrising to help a friend, a young woman, that had left Gaza, to find a hope for her future. She was able to continue her studies in another country and in the meantime help her family to support themselves. She worked hard, studying and working.

But now, that she finally see the finish line, she face a major economic obstacle, so I create this fundrising to help her.

I'll let her explain her situation:

"My name is Jumana Mohammad Al-Najjar, and I am 24 years old.

I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry in Gaza in 2025.

Despite all the difficult circumstances we went through, I held onto my dream until I was finally able to graduate — but my journey is not over yet.

I lost my father in 2014, and I now live with my sick mother, who constantly needs medication and medical care.

After the war and the harsh conditions we faced, we were forced to leave our home, and I became fully responsible for supporting our household on my own.

I work more than one job just to cover our rent, daily expenses, and my mother’s treatment, but the income barely covers our basic needs.

I can no longer afford the cost of the internship year required to complete my path and begin working as a dentist.

The university requires $8,000 to complete my internship year — the final step standing between me and achieving my dream, benefiting from the years I spent studying, and building a future where I can support myself and my mother with dignity.

I am writing these words with hope in God and in the kindness of compassionate people.
