Help a Student Attend the Braille Challenge

I am raising funds to support a remarkable student, Bryanah, as she travels with her teaching team to Los Angeles, California, to participate in the 2025 Braille Challenge National Finals, from June 26–29, 2025!

The Braille Challenge is the only academic competition of its kind, where students who are blind or visually impaired showcase their Braille skills. Each year, top-performing students come together to compete in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, comprehension, and graph and map reading. It’s not just a competition; it’s a celebration of achievement, independence, and the power of accessible education.

Bryanah has earned a place at the national level — a huge honor that reflects years of hard work and dedication. As Bryanah graduates and moves forward to special programming at Ohio School for the Blind this fall, she would like to travel with her retiring assistant (Cindy), and teacher (Kellie), who have been part of her education and Braille journey for many years.

Donations will be used for travel expenses, lodging, meals, and event-related costs for the 3 of them. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help make this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity a reality.
