Hi, I am Dawn, or JD, and I am a 25 year old transgirl creative with a passion for storytelling and the arts, from Tampa Florida. Unfortunately it is no longer safe for people like me in Florida. With the new laws that are going into affect, I will soon no longer have access to trans related medical care. Thus the only way to ensure my continued safety and health is to move out of state.

I am a writer, designer, improv performer, and professional game master/storyteller. While I love what I do, it doesn't exactly pay a lot, especially for someone as early in their career and life as I am, and I have a number of medical issues that divert part of my time and resources away as is.

These funds will go directly toward planning a cross country move to a safe state where I have friends willing to help support me, and help me establish myself in a new area until I get back on my feet and find more work (help pay for housing, food, and medicine and doctors visits potentially out of pocket until I get new medical care figured out, etc).

Any and all donations are super appreciated, and if you aren't in a position right now to donate no worries, even just sharing this around is a huge help that I am super thankful for.

I just want to be safe to be myself and make good art and tell cool stories with people and help others do the same, to love and be loved, have the chance to do great things and help make this world a better place then the one I came into, and the chance to make my life mean something even beyond all the wonderful little moments. And I wont be able to put all my passion and vim and vigor into those things at my 100% again until I am safe and my life, health, and well being are no longer in jeopardy.

UPDATE: Unfortunetly, my used car's engine finally kicked the bucket, so ive upped the goal just a little. Hopefully I can find a replacement engine and get everything situated before my cross-country move, otherwise ill have to figure out a way to get a replacement vehicle and I really can't afford more monthly payments like that on something on top of everything else going on.
