Help a struggling Teacher & Father

Hello, my name is Karen.  I am a Residency Coordinator for a teacher credentialing program in Los Angeles that recruits, trains, and prepares new teachers to teach in high-need urban schools.

One of our current teacher candidates has been struggling to make ends meet for himself and his two young sons, one of which has a very serious ailment. Since he is in a full-time program, he is unable to work and also care for his family at the same time.

I created this GoFundMe account to help support him and his family financially as he finishes the program.

He has been hired to work with high-need students for the upcoming school year but he is in very desperate need right now.  And cannot currently afford to pay rent or care for his family financially. He needs our help to make it to September, when he will receive his first check.

The money raised from this campaign will be used to pay for rent, purchase food, toiletries and get him through the rest of his university credentialing program.
