I'm reaching out during one of the most difficult times in my life. This past week, I suffered a ruptured appendix that required emergency surgery. The recovery has kept me out of work, and unfortunately, I do not qualify for short-term disability.

As a single mom, I’m doing everything I can to stay strong for my children, but this unexpected medical emergency has put me in a tough financial spot. I’m currently unable to cover my rent, basic living expenses, and the needs of my kids while I focus on healing.
