Help a stray kitty live a happy and healthy life

Hello! My name is Adrienne and five days ago I took in a stray cat. She was laying under my car as I was getting ready to leave. Immediately, I knew something was wrong and grabbed her and carried her into my garage. She was having trouble walking and I thought she may have been injured, but on inspection, she had no wounds, and all of her limbs were reactive to touch and moved with no problem. She was having occasional seizures, and we suspect that she is blind. When watching her, I noticed she was super unbalanced and wobbly when she was trying to walk, and as a result, she would fall over or drag herself around. This has caused her to not be able to use a litterbox or eat independently. I was syringe feeding her the first couple of days and as she got stronger, she was able to eat more independently with a little assistance with balance. Yesterday and today, we have had to go back to syringe feeding because she has had a loss of appetite. She's been wheezing while she breathes and has newly developed diarrhea.

I have called, emailed, and texted every rescue and shelter within a 100-mile radius of me and all have either declined, not answered, or said they would immediately euthanize her. I called into a vet asking for advice and they are sure she has Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This would explain the loss of balance/mobility, her tremors, and her seizures. This condition has no cure but can be improved through multiple different types of treatment. CH is very common, doesn't do any harm or cause pain, and a cat can live a normal and happy life when given the extra care and love that they need. I just want to do whatever I can to help her and to let her live a happy life!

I have a vet appointment scheduled for 09/24/2024 and do not have the ability to cover all of the costs of her care. I'll have a better number after the appointment, but I know it will most likely be somewhere in the thousands. I am scraping pennies to cover the exam fee, but I know I need to get her into the vet ASAP. Thank you for reading over her story and I will make sure to post updates as they come. To all donators, thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart.
