A stray cat in our local community was found with a broken leg after someone posted about it in a Facebook group. When I saw the post, I offered to trap the cat if someone could foster, and a few volunteers quickly stepped up. One person offered to foster, and another offered to adopt the cat once it receives the vet care it desperately needs. We are all volunteers, working together out of compassion, but none of us have the funds to cover the necessary vet services.

The cat needs an initial assessment, leg surgery, and possibly amputation, followed by aftercare including medication. These treatments are essential for the cat’s recovery and will give it a real chance at a happy, healthy life in a loving home.
