For the past couple of months, this cat has been coming to my home, and I have been feeding him whenever he shows up. It became clear over time that he no longer had a consistent home and was fending for himself outdoors.

Four days ago, on Wednesday, May 6th, I found him hiding in the bushes, limping badly. His leg was bent in a way that clearly wasn’t right. I couldn’t just leave him suffering, so I took him to the vet for help.

After examining him and taking X-rays, the vet told me that his upper leg bone was broken in five places. The injury is severe enough that he needs to see a specialist and undergo surgery to have a chance at recovery.

The funds raised will go directly toward the specialist visit, the surgery itself, his stay at the animal hospital, medication, and all the aftercare he will need to heal and hopefully return to a normal, happy life.

I am very grateful for any help in giving this kitty a chance at a normal life. He is only three years old and has a long life ahead of him. Your support means so much to both of us, and together we can give him the second chance he truly deserves.
