One of the community cats in my neighborhood came to me with a horrible tail injury. It legitimately looks like it’s hanging on by a thread, and that part is black and smells like death. I have insurance on my personal animals for things like this, but of course, I don’t have it for a stray. Regardless, I cannot leave him in this condition.

Unfortunately, the tail isn’t just a part of their body. It’s a part of their spinal cord, almost half of their spinal cord, and the vet has said because of this injury, it will be a more difficult major surgery. I have him scheduled for surgery as soon as possible, but the cost is really high and I could really use some help to help out this poor baby. If he doesn’t get surgery, he’s likely to not make it due to the way. It’s currently healing and it’s smell. If you are able, any type of contribution would help tremendously! Thoughts and prayers would also be greatly appreciated. This little boy is in so much pain and so scared. We need all the help we can get for him, monetarily or just well wishes.
