Help the Vega family rebuild their home
Donation protected
The Vega family is an incredible family that, over the last several years, graciously hosted many international students at their home in Manabi, Ecuador. During my two months with them in 2011, they welcomed me with open arms, introduced me to the entire community, and showed me an incredible kindness that I have never forgotten. Below are some photos of some of the volunteers and I with Jose, Yessenia and the rest of the family.
Tragically, the 2016 earthquake in Ecuador destroyed their beautiful home (Before and After pictures below). As with most disasters, the rebuild process takes not months, years to complete. They have been rebuilding since the earthquake, and with a few more much needed resources, they can get back to the beautiful farm they had before. Please donate to help this incredible family finish rebuilding and recover the family home they lost.
Thank you for your meaningful donation!
