Today, one of our own, a brilliant, resilient woman in the space community and a devoted mother, is facing a heartbreaking crisis.

After enduring years of emotional and verbal abuse, her ex-partner retaliated by filing a restraining order under false pretenses and taking custody of her children. Despite having clear evidence of his threats and manipulation, she is now homeless, without legal representation, and urgently needs support to protect herself and her children.

She is a visionary in our field, a passionate advocate for STEM education, and a mother who has always put her children first. She deserves safety. She deserves justice. And she deserves a community that stands behind her.

This emergency fund will help her:

Retain a legal team to challenge the restraining order and fight for custody

Secure safe temporary housing for herself and her children

Cover basic living expenses including food, gas, and transportation

Begin trauma recovery and mental health support

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to give her the foundation she needs to rebuild.
