Our Story

I made one of the hardest and bravest choices of my life — I left a toxic relationship, in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy. I didn’t want my child growing up in an environment that wasn’t safe, calm, or loving. I walked away with nothing, but with the deepest determination to create something better for us.

I went on to free birth my son on my boat, on the hottest day ever recorded in the UK — 24 hours of labour, spine-to-spine, with no intervention or medication.. That experience changed me completely.

Since then, it’s been just me and my son — navigating life afloat, home Educating, and building a peaceful rhythm day by day. It hasn’t been easy, but it’s been real. Every challenge has taught me strength, patience, and self-reliance.

The Vision: 'ROAM + WOOD'

In rebuilding my life, I turned toward what had already been guiding me for years — creating and living more naturally. Even though my background is in interior design, a career that was my identity for nearly a decade, around 2021 I began making my own skincare and household products, learning about oils, herbs, and traditional remedies. What started as curiosity became a way of life.

That love of creating grew into a vision: ROAM + WOOD, a small-batch toxic free ALL natural skincare and wellness brand that embodies everything I believe in — honesty, purity, and living close to nature.

My son loves helping me mix and make. This is something we can build together, from our little floating home. It’s a business that fits around motherhood, not against it.
