Help a Soldier Chase Excellence on the Track

I’m a U.S. Army Special Operations soldier, a lifelong sprinter, and a masters track athlete chasing a goal most people would have written off years ago.

Before the Army, I was a nationally ranked collegiate sprinter. After joining Special Operations, competitive track took a back seat to deployments, training cycles, injuries, and the demands of service. Like many veterans, I didn’t stop being an athlete—I just stopped having space to pursue it.

In my 30s, I made a decision: not to relive the past, but to see how far disciplined training, experience, and resilience could still take me. Since returning to competitive track, I’ve earned national medals, qualified for championship meets, and continue to improve against athletes half my age—while balancing full-time military service and recovery from injury.

Competing at national and regional championships isn’t cheap. Travel, lodging, registration, and food costs add up quickly, especially for a solo athlete without institutional sponsorship. This fundraiser helps offset those costs so I can focus on training, recovery, and representing my community—and the values I’ve learned through service—on the national stage.
I’m not chasing attention. I’m chasing excellence, consistency, and the belief that disciplined effort still matters, regardless of age.

If you choose to support this journey, know that every contribution helps keep me on the track and moving forward. Thank you for believing in the process and in what’s still possible.
