My name is Olga, and I’m the founder of Fragrance Revolution Boutique — a self-funded fragrance business built with love, resilience, and authenticity.

Fragrance Revolution was born from my passion for niche perfumery and my dream to one day create my own signature perfume line.

For now, we specialise in selling authentic fragrances in decant format (by millilitres) — making niche scents accessible to people who want to explore luxury perfumery without spending hundreds on a full bottle.

Everything is clearly described on our website — volumes, presentation, and authenticity.

However, many customers don’t read the full product descriptions and later claim that they expected a retail bottle, even though we sell decants (splits). Some of these misunderstandings have led to chargebacks, and unfortunately, banks almost always side with the buyer — even when proof of delivery is provided.

At the same time, Trustpilot often deletes genuine positive reviews, but keeps negative ones — which means our rating no longer reflects the real customer experience.

How the crisis began

Over the past year, our small boutique grew incredibly fast.

At first, I handled everything myself — orders, packaging, customer service, inventory, social media, suppliers.

Then the volume of orders became overwhelming — hundreds per day — and I hired assistants to help with packaging and dispatch.

But as we were growing, I was constantly reinvesting every penny back into stock, and there was no financial cushion for mistakes. When the order flow suddenly doubled, the team couldn’t keep up: shipments were delayed, communication lagged, and this created a chain reaction of complaints.

It was never about bad intentions — just the reality of a small self-invested business trying to grow too fast without external funding.

What happened next

The delays and misunderstandings triggered a flood of negative reviews, many of which were unfair or based on confusion about product format.

Soon after, our payment providers froze our funds, citing an “elevated dispute rate.”

This meant that thousands of pounds earned from fulfilled orders were held now for 120 days, leaving us unable to pay postal fees, suppliers, or even buy packaging to complete pending shipments.

has created a crisis that now threatens the survival of our small but honest business.

What we’re asking for

We’re asking for help to stabilise operations, clear pending orders, and rebuild trust — step by step.

Funds raised will be used for:

1. Paying overdue courier and postal bills.

2. Purchasing packaging, decant bottles, and materials.

3. Covering chargeback losses and partial refunds.

4. Supporting staff during recovery.

5. Securing legal and financial advice to protect the business long term.

Fragrance Revolution is more than a shop — it’s a small independent brand built on love for niche perfumery and honest service. We never planned to be “big” — we just wanted to make beautiful things accessible.

And we still believe in that dream — to one day release our own fragrance line inspired by courage, self-expression, and rebirth.
