Help a Small Local Business Recover from Robbery

Donation protected

My parents own a small local business located behind McKinley High School for the past 14 years. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they have been struggling to make ends meet with their business. Lately, there have been a lot of difficult/rude people coming to the store. Some instances include throwing racial slurs at my parents or making a mess in the store. Someone even punched my dad because he asked a customer to put their mask on while being in the store, which is mandated by Hawaii law at the moment.

On top of that, last night, they were robbed by 3 people. These robbers had stolen a truck and broken into the store. They busted the front entrance doors, took the cash register and ATM machine, stole about 50 cartons of cigarettes, as well as a bunch of alcohol. The perpetrators have not been found yet, but the police are still investigating right now.

Thankfully my parents are safe and are trying their best to get back on their feet. We appreciate all the help we can get, small or big, to cover the damages and losses.
