Help a small family owned nail salon thru pandemic

Local businesses are the heart and soul of our communities and they are facing a crisis. Social distancing and government-mandated shutdowns are disproportionately affecting businesses that need foot traffic to survive. One of my dear friends Thanh, is a local small businesswoman that has been negatively impacted by the government social distancing mandates due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since mid-March, doors closed to her nail salon; business traffic and more importantly income has stopped. Now, entering the third month into the pandemic stay home order, and barely into Phase 2 of reopening business in San Diego, she is still is paying rent for her nail salon without the ability to generate any income.

Anyone who knows her can attest to what a hard worker she is, how kind and generous of spirit she is. She is the mother of 5 amazing children and a true matriarch that is, for one of the first times in her adult life, in need of help.

I am trying to help raise money for her to pay ongoing business expenses, specifically her salon rent. I know that many of us have been impacted financially, myself included, but I’m asking if you have the ability to donate that it would be helping a local small business and a hard working family to stay on their feet through this tough time.
