Help a Mother Appeal for Freedom — Support My Legal Case & Return Home

Below is the sisters story:

My name is Mariam.

At 19 years old, I got married and moved abroad — full of trust, hope, and dreams of a safe family life.

But instead of love and stability, I found myself in years of silent struggle — emotionally, financially, and psychologically isolated.

I was denied the right to work.

Denied access to documents.

Denied the freedom to leave.

And left to raise my children with no support.

I remained silent for years, trying to “be patient,” as everyone told me. But that patience came at a cost. My mental health declined. My children suffered. And I was made to feel like a prisoner in my own life.

When I finally found the courage to go through the legal system and ask for a separation, I poured my heart into it. I presented medical reports, proof of neglect, emotional and financial abuse.

But my plea for freedom was denied.

Now, not only am I still bound to a marriage I no longer want — I’ve been told I must somehow pay rent, without a job or income, after years of being denied the ability to work.

The pressure on me is overwhelming, and I am terrified that if I make one mistake, my children could be taken from me.

I don’t want revenge. I don’t want compensation.

I just want to peacefully return home with my children — to safety, to stability, to healing.
